THE MMORPG WAR
----------------------------

It's been going on since Everquest. Which is the best for your money? Which is the best in general? I'll rate each one of the most popular, so you can make a good choice.

Everquest 1 and 2- One of the oldest on our list, It started something that couldn't be stopped. It's monthly fees are neither expensive nor cheap.Everquest 2 has fair graphics, mediocre, better than some on the list, worse than some. It sticks to standard fantasy story/setting, such as battling dragons or casting spells.

Verdict- Good gameplay, but not as good as the rest on our list. A bit too standard.

World Of Warcraft-With the greastest graphics on our list, this won't dissapoint. It has a fantasy story and setting, but branches out from that, with a city dedicated to technology, and the addition of guns as weapons. Gameplay is extremely fluid and fun, and leveling up is easy enough, so you won't have to stress. With a $15 a month monthly fee, it is on the expensive side, but it is well worth it. No matter what level you are, you'll have fun!It is also original in the fact of character custimization, you pick a race, out of 6, then a type, such as a mage or warrior, there are about 10 of those. So if your a mage, you cant wear warrior armor unless you train yourself too, creating different types of characters who simply can't do everything. In other games, you can mage AND fight with swords, at different times, making for nearly unstoppable characters, but now, you can't, making for a more fun (but sometimes confusing) gameplay.

Verdict-Top pick, deffinately pick this one up!

Runescape- This one is free, with the option to pay 5 bucks a month for more options. It is accesed online, with no download at http://www.runescape.com .
It's graphics are poor, but it's expected from an online game. It is too massive at times, and worlds get crowded, making text scroll by in seconds. You can have your own house in this, which is a cool feature. The game itself, however, is a bit boring and just not fun. Playing is more like a task then a game.

Verdict- Free, But Boring

Computer TROUBLES!

Yes. These past 3 months have been on and off, but it shall return to normal shortly. Day to day posts will restart on July 15th. Right now, I'll show you some cool stuff. My top picks for everything media. The 1st annual Mac's Media Awards! Brought to you by me!

First Award
-----------------

BEST PARODY EVER- Everyone likes wild parodies, but here is the best!

Nominees- Scary Movie Series, Not Another Teen Movie, Austin Powers Series, Kung Phooey

The winner, however close between all 4, is The Austin Powers Series , for it was fresh in every movie and always had original and funny jokes. It also never hesitated to make fun of itself.

Second Award
--------------------

BEST "CARTOON"- This is the award for the best more adult oriented cartoons.

Nominees- South Park, Family Guy, Home Movies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force

The winner is South Park , for it is always funny, and has real plots, unlike ATHF and Family Guy. It usually has a moral, and you always "learn something today"

AWARDS 3-10 ARE COMING, NEXT WEEK WE HAVE 3,4, and 5, then the following week we have 6-10.

Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith is one of my favorite directors (I have 2, him and Darryl Fong.) I would like to take this post to talk about his work.

His movies are hilarious for one, and he is from Red Bank,NJ. I was born and raised (and still recide) in NJ. So, we have something in common. I've been to his store many times. I hope to see him there once. (Hopefully.) I visited the church in which the final scene of DOGMA was shot. It was a 10 minute drive.

His movies are great. My favorite is DOGMA, I loved Mallrats and Clerks. DOGMA is a relegious movie, more or less, but focuses on it in a good way, to not piss people off. Or too, but not seen that way. It's about two renegade angels that find a loophole in God's plan to ban them from heaven, threatening existence forever. Clerks and Mallrats have a good style to them, kind of like documentaries. Shot without fancy camerawork, simple, but elegant in a way.

So, in summary, I reccomend you see his movies. They're great. And I mean that. I post this for I forgot too post any of his movies in my list of movies too see (mostly parodies, huh?)See you homies later, EAST SIDE!

I apologise for that.

Sorry. My computer was busted for a while, it couldn't run some internal things, but we got it back up. The new things will start on Monday, but, now, I will show you my top 3-"cartoons", more adult orientated cartoons anyway, and songs.

SHOWS
-----------

  1. South Park-A hilarious show with great humour, about 4 kids in a small town, most episodes have a hidden meaning about something happening in America, and also have a moral at the end.

2. Family Guy-A great show. Has random pop culture refrences, which break away from the plot at random times, such as flashbacks, which turns people off, but also attracts people. You decide.

3. Aqua Teen Hunger Force- a show with random funny plots, you'll love the characters.

SONGS

-------------

I hate everything about you- 3 Days Grace

The Four Horseman-Metallica

Down With The Sickness-Disturbed

Sunday, Sunday ,Sunday! #1

Welcome to our new segment, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! On Sundays, we wrap up the week in games, movies, music, and media!

Monday- We here at Gamer Kid News were all exited about E3. News was getting out as E3 was just around the corner. Was the Ps3 going to blow us away? Was the "revolution" going to be the next big thing? Or was the 360 going to reign supreme?

Tuesday- The press conferences for Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft were all going on and being studied by the good people at G4 Television. The Revolution was changed to the Wii, Halo 3 was announced, and a bunch of trailers and demos were shown. The PS3 controller was redesigned (thankfully) and news was starting to break out about the next years biggest games.

Wednesday- E3 opened! The LA Convention Center opened it's doors to hundreds upon thousands of screaming people. Too bad it's not open to the public..... :( . The Wii and Ps3 got hands on takes from fans. Every booth glistened. Ahh, the sights. Nintendo did have a great run this year, because of the innovation of the Wii.

Thursday- More games were unveliled, more hands on tries emerged. Nintendo blew everyone away with their innovation of games.

Friday- E3 was wrapped up. Everyone started leaving, and the last games made their appearance.

Saturday- Ahh yes, Saturday. Everyone had a chance to reflect on E3 No new games were revealed today, who would wait until after E3?
